ON THE WAY to UAV INDUSTRY INTEGRATION
Ad 1 Testing

1 March 2024

The global commercial drone market has been estimated at USD $22 billion in 2023, and is expected to reach USD $57 billion in 2030.

In addition, we should appreciate the impressive growth of the defense drone market that, in these troubled days, is increasing at an even faster pace.  There is no question that the drone industry growth will be among the most interesting to observe in the near future.

Micro-economy history shows that when such impressive positive demand trends take place, the industry soon experiences some forms of integration processes. From a very large amount of initially dispersed and relatively small, often artisanal players, middle and large industrial and service entities tend to emerge, supported by concentration of resources in capital and competences.

Driven by the demand of purpose driven applications, the integration process will happen across all drone industry segments, from mining to public safety, farming, transportation, and all the areas where uncrewed systems will demonstrate their ability to streamline processes, capture large volumes of accurate data, increase safety, and, ultimately, save time and money.

This progression into the future will be additionally fueled by the increasingly fast development of artificial intelligence solutions, which will multiply the abilities and the safety of UAV applications.

In this turbulent, but very exciting environment, JR-UAV was born.

Our funding partners—JR Propo from Japan; Desert Aircraft, United States; Saito, Japan, and INFInject, Australia—joined forces creating a larger and very solid global UAV player. The joint engineering, production and commercial capabilities enable us to provide leading-edge UAV components all over the world, and to follow up new development projects in partnership with our customers.

Our production facilities are located in the USA, Japan, Australia, and Malaysia and are ISO 9000 certified. We enjoy long-term relationships with qualified intermediate parts and raw material suppliers. The management of this supply network, combined with engineering savoir faire and the control of production process enables us to ensure the very high quality of each of our final products. All our product supply chains are protected in the West.

Piston Engines

Our piston engines are engineered and produced by Desert Aircraft and SAITO. They can all be equipped with INFInject electronic fuel injection system, alternator and auto-start.

The adoption of electronic fuel injection enables to significantly reduce fuel consumption and to reach much higher flight altitudes. The alternator provides electricity to the whole vehicle, significantly extending the available mission time.

We provide two- and four-stroke engines, based on single, two or four cylinders, ranging from 35 to 215 cc.  All our engines can be made to work with heavy fuels.

Hybrid Power Generators

The hybrid power generator installed on an electric drone enables to significantly extend mission time and to reduce weight. As a consequence, bigger electric motors can be employed to enable greater payloads.

Servo Actuators: JR XBus or CANBus

In the last thirty years, JR Propo has been at the forefront of RC applications developments, producing leading edge control systems and servo actuators which have been highly appreciated by scores of builders and pilots all over the world.

Our proprietary DMSS and  Axbus protocols are still unsurpassed. Recently we developed also a full line of CANBus servo actuators, which can be more flexibly utilized in different UAV applications.

Ready to Fly UAV Platforms

We also engineer and produce high performance helicopter and multi-copters, which can constitute very reliable platforms to finalize purpose driven applications, by adding all the additional technology required to fulfill the task to which the vehicle will be dedicated. https://www.jr-uav.com/professional-uas
