Lykus, a leading manufacturer of protective cases and backpacks for DJI drones, announced the expansion of its product line to serve the growing needs of drone enthusiasts and professionals. Founded in 2015, Lykus was one of the first companies to create thoughtfully designed, high-quality accessories specifically for popular DJI drone models.

"Since day one, our mission has been to enhance the drone experience for DJI users by allowing them to transport and protect their investment with confidence," said Joe Zhao, Director of Product Management. "As drones become more sophisticated and new models are released, we will continue innovating to meet the needs of this dynamic market."

Lykus first disrupted the industry in 2015 with their protective backpack designed specifically for the DJI Phantom 3, which became a top-selling Phantom 3 storage accessory. In 2017, Lykus pioneered the unique M1 backpack for DJI Mavic Pro, featuring a hard bone structure integrated into the backpack for superior impact protection and one-stop storage solution with extra pockets. The M1 backpacks, with several variations now, remain one of Lykus' most popular products, with ongoing updates to perfectly fit new Mavic, Air and Mini drone as well as new remote controllers.

Hard cases were the next innovation for Lykus in 2018, utilizing advanced CNC cutting methods to create custom-fitted foam inserts for drones and accessories. Lykus hard cases offer premium protection with style; different case models of different sizes share the same look, giving customers a robust and consistent feeling. Because of this, customers sometimes can save money by only updating the foam insert without changing the case. The company also continually refines their foam technology to elevate the user experience.

With over 7 years of experience exclusively focused on DJI drones, Lykus has an intimate understanding of DJI products and customers. "We actively engage with users in forums, on social media, and through direct contact to understand their real-world experiences," said Joe. "Our products directly reflect the feedback and insights shared by pilots."

Today, Lykus protective gear is mainly sold through Amazon stores in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, U.K., Europe, Japan and Australia. Lykus cases and backpacks can also be found at their official website, lykustech.com, which offers their full product catalog with worldwide shipping. To date, Lykus products have been sold to more than 30 countries.

Looking to the future, Lykus plans to expand their protective solutions to additional accessories as the market evolves. "While DJI will remain our core focus, we recognize the need for a wider variety of carrying options as drones become more mainstream," said Zhao. "We are committed to protecting our customers' passion for drones through relentless innovation."
